The town of Wellington Colorado was incorporated in 1905, and named for C. L. Wellington (an employee of the Colorado and Southern Railroad). Wellington was also the home of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Byron White. Justise White made it a point to return to Wellington on an annual basis for his high school reunions.
Wellington is just north of Fort Collins and is served by the highly acclaimed Poudre School District. Many homes in Wellington have beautiful mountain views and are close to the many great outdoor activities that include fishing, hiking, biking, climbing and golf.
